Dear Rushton Family,
So here I am, on the first day. I’m alive, I’m very VERY hot! They had us wearing full suits all day and I probably will be all day tomorrow. Sunday we get to go to the Presidency Broadcast so that should be kind of cool.
So I’m in a Tripanionship. Elder Vasquez is my official companion and hes from near Baltimore. Hes also a state champion wrestler. We also have Elder Brewer with us. They are both pretty cool and easy for me to get along with… and were all 19 (or almost 19 in Elder Brewer’s case)
Anywho, I’m learning a lot here already. It’s also pretty relaxed in our tripanionshio, which has made this relatively painless. I’ve met a few really strict missionaries who seem like living with them would be unbearable here in the MTC. One of our leaders here is like that. Oh, and all our zone leaders are 18, so that’s kind of weird for me. Regardless, I know these guys at least know the MTC better than I do, so I’ll listen to them for now. Well, that’s all for tonight. I’ll enclose this one with any other letters I write before I’m able to mail them out. Just wanted to write tonight.
