Dear Rushton family,
Happy P-Day! I’m taking lots of pictures to show you. Were in the laundry room right now. Doing laundry. With Machines. Anyways, I can’t wait to get to Oregon! It’s getting too hot here for suits and ties. Our travel info says we get to take Front runner up to the SLC airport at 5:30AM next Tuesday. I’m going to be a little lost in all this since I’ve only been on a plane once that I can remember. But that’s what I have companions for, right?
We had a devotional last night and Janice Kapp Perry spoke at it. There was a LOT of singing as a result. ON the plus side, they’re opening the cafeteria tomorrow again so we can actually get meal options again! Oh, I keep running into people I know here too and that’s pretty cool.
I can see what Erik meant about taking lots of notebooks. I already have one half full. So we went to the temple as a district. I was able to appreciate it a lot more this time. We just did an endowment, but got alot more out of it. Going through it will my companions made it that much better. So I’ve decided that unless I get a request, I’m not going to write too much regarding my experiences here. I’ll always say what’s up but I already spend a lot of time writing in my journal. I will share a few things.
So Erik wrote me and said Dr. Root at Weber already set money aside for him. That’s awesome. Now he just needs to show that he deserves it. 
I’m really trying to embrace my role in this district and be an example/ I feel really close to all of them now and I know I’ve been given this calling for a reason.
Well, I guess that’s it for this letter. I’m doing great and witnessing a lot of miracles. I’m also getting used to dress pants… jeans feels too low now! Alright, write me soon. Always good to get letters!
